The best locations at the best time - the only way to describe this awesome wildlife workshop!
In this field workshop students learn:
- site selection,
- what to wear,
- what gear is needed,
- camera settings, shooting
- and more.
You will learn how to photograph birds at a nice NC location! We will even throw in landscape and panorama techniques if we have time while waiting for wildlife!
Time permitting you will also learn:
- landscape camera settings & techniques,
- backup settings for when you are on the move,
- how to keep your gear warm so it will shoot properly,
- use of graduated neutral density filters,
- and more!
Assembly location will be announced to enrollees. This is a rain or shine event. This is a hands-on workshop so bring your camera, fresh batteries, a wide angle lens for large flock shots and landscapes, a super telephoto lens for aerial or long distance shots, empty memory cards, tripod and wired or wireless remote shutter release. Tripods may be rented for $10.00 for the session. Wired and wireless remotes may be purchased at the start of the session for most cameras for $15.00. Email email@example.com if you need to rent a tripod or buy a remote trigger. Include make and model of camera if buying a remote.
Wear comfortable shoes and bring water and food as it will be a long day in places without restaurants. You are responsible for your own transportation, though there are a limited number of seats available with your photographer - on a first come, first served basis.
