Better Black and White Photography Made Easy! 

ONLINE OR CLASSROOM BASED!

No matter your skill level or gear, this workshop teaches you how to turn your photographs into Black and White masterpieces. The solution is NOT your camera's monochrome or Black & White setting. While Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (Adobe Camera Raw) are used in this workshop, all of the techniques may be used in any suitable equipped photo editing program for PC or Mac - even free ones such as Faststone Image Viewer, GIMP, Dark Table and more.

    • We customize your two hour, One on One experience to your specific wants and needs, skill level, and equipment. Before your session, please email us with your make and model camera, flash lenses, and other gear. 

    You will learn how to:

  • set ISO, aperture, and shutter functions in camera,
  • utilize the best White Balance setting,
  • adjust luminosity settings,
  • apply curves for ideal contrast levels,
  • extend dynamic range for more impact,
  • adjust levels,
  • adjust blacks and shadows,
  • adjust whites and highlights,
  • deal with overexposure,
  • deal with underexposure,
  • add contrast and clarity,
  • adjust saturation,
  • select areas of an image for localized adjustments,
  • and more!
