Intermediate Digital Photography Made Easy! 

ONLINE OR CLASSROOM BASED!

No matter your skill level, this workshop teaches you creative photography and how to use your camera. After a brief review of fundamentals, you will begin shooting more creatively. Best suited for a camera with Aperture and Shutter Priority capabilities. Camera can be a DSLR, mirrorless or advanced Point & Shoot.

    • We customize your two hour, One on One experience to your specific wants and needs, skill level, and equipment. Before your session, please email us with your make and model camera, flash lenses, and other gear. 

    You will learn how to:

  • shoot in manual mode,
  • understand light,
  • set ISO, aperture, and shutter functions in camera,
  • balance between Aperture, Shutter & ISO,
  • use the 3 factors that affect Depth of Field,
  • use the "fastest slow"shutter speed,
  • freeze action in a scene,
  • use ISO properly,
  • how to interpret histograms for better exposure and tonal range,
  • how to read your camera’s “dashboard”,
  • clean the sensor – even “self-cleaning” sensors get dirty,
  • set custom white balances,
  • use exposure bracketing,
  • use gray and white cards and targets, 
  • shoot “shake-free” without a tripod,
  • use the various metering modes,
  • and more!
