Description:

Painting with Light Photography Made Easy! 

ONLINE OR CLASSROOM BASED!

No matter your skill level or gear, this workshop teaches you how to craft amazing outdoor photos utilizing several different light sources, from external camera flash to flashlights and high-power portable spotlights. Besides your camera and a wide angle lens, a tripod is needed for this workshop. You may rent one from us for the evening.

    • We customize your two hour, One on One experience to your specific wants and needs, skill level, and equipment. Before your session, please email us with your make and model camera, flash lenses, and other gear. 

    You will learn how to:

  • light your subject creatively,
  • properly expose the subject,
  • create outlines, names and other patterns,
  • read the histogram,
  • use long exposure times beyond 30 seconds,
  • use a tripod properly,
  • use a GoBo to create in-camera special effects,
  • use wired or wireless trigger remotes,
  • take multiple exposures in the same digital image,
  • and more!
