This three hour, one-on-one specialized training session, taught by the only Certified Master Photographer in the Carolinas, teaches you how to use your in camera or on-camera external flash to enhance your photos.
One of the secrets to great outdoor portraits is the use of flash. Most people think that flash is not needed in that situation, but it an absolute must if you want the best in-camera results! Combined with careful study and use of available natural light, students of this session can achieve professional grade portraits.
Flash is also critical for low light situations such as indoors at parties or events.
In this hands-on, on location session you will learn how to change camera settings to achieve maximum creativity with the least amount of effort. You will also learn about your camera’s menu options and buttons and when to use Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority or Manual mode in conjunction with your internal or external on-camera flash.
Students will learn how to use their flash to help freeze action and how to “drag the shutter”. Some techniques can only be achieved with an external flash. For best results, students are advised to buy or rent an external flash compatible with their camera.
